DDSA to Offer Scholarship in 2017

The first annual Diamond Dreams Charles W. McGill College Scholarship will be awarded in 2017.

Diamond Dreams is a tribute to a father who died too young but who managed to pass on a love of the game to his son. To honor him, DDSA named its indoor training field after him. In 2017, DDSA will honor him further when it awards its first annual $1,000 per year, four-year renewable scholarship to a local baseball or softball player in need of financial assistance and who demonstrates the highest levels of sportsmanship, scholarship and love of the game.
