Jeff Tabaka

Baseball Instruction

Jeff was a 1986 NCAA All-American at Kent St. where he led the MAC in hitting with a .397 average. Jeff was drafted in the 2nd round by the Montreal Expos, spent 16 years in professional baseball and 7 years in the Majors pitching for the Astros, Padres, Reds, Pirates and Cardinals. Since his playing days ended, Jeff has taught and coached the game extensively. He is motivated by his deep love of the game and his desire to pass on the detailed knowledge of the game that only former MLB players possess. Jeff does private instruction full time at Diamond Dreams and also runs his annual Pro Baseball School in the wintertime. Cell: 330-807-0377

Roy Jacobs

Baseball Instruction

Roy Jacobs was a three-year captain of the baseball team at Malone University and served as an asisstant coach for three years after his playing career ended. Roy has also served as the bullpen coach for the Frontier League Washington Wild Things, has been a camp instructor for Cal Ripken, Jr. Baseball, has served as an Assistant Director of USA Baseball (Ohio Valley Region) and currently serves as the Senior Manager of Amateur Baseball Development for the Akron Rubber Ducks of the AA Eastern League. Roy is a highly regarded instructor who has been conducting youth camps, and offering individual and team lessons for hitting and fielding for many years.
